Daktari Bush School and Animal Orphanage in South Africa

 

 
We don't know how Ima came to be orphaned. However a family was looking after her and bottle feeding her. The family was leaving the area and decided to give Ima to Daktari to continue their loving care. We had her in a small camp for a few days, when she escaped and met up with Pala our blind impala. They became instant companion to each other. Ima still call for her bottle when she is hungry but stays all day and all night with Pala. Itis so cute to see this close bounding and how it appears that Ima acts as Pala's eyes.
